Nabhi Kriya

With the increase of fiery energy experienced during this evolutionary period, specifically this Aries full moon, you may access angry, frustrated, confused, and ‘out of control’ feelings. We encourage you to use this anger as a meditation. Allow yourself to FEEL the anger, without letting your thoughts get in the way. When we get in touch with the raw energy of how we are feeling we can use it to energise and empower us.

Here we offer you Nabhi Kriya, a powerful Kundalini Yoga Kriya (set of exercises) to help you to release the anger, whilst simultaneously harnessing your power. The kriya is designed to activate and strengthen your navel point. So remember to really engage your core as you do the exercises.

*Nabhi refers to the Navel Chakra, also known as Manipura – the power centre. This is the place of will power, action and balance. It’s where we harness our personal empowerment, created through our commitment, self esteem, inspiration, spontaneity, health and vitality. It’s also where we hold memories of power issues and imbalances, feeling inferior or superior, and where we create blockages through stored anger and resentment.

It’s an intense core work out, but you can reduce the times to start with and gradually build up over time. This will clean you out both physically and spiritually. Remember, fire brings heat, and heat is a form of energy. So when we generate heat in our navel we can clean out our anger with the energy we generate.
