Full Moon in Capricorn, July 2014

Saturday 12th July 2014, 9.26pm (AEST)
Dear Moonscopers, this often stern, responsible Capricorn moon, ruled by Saturn can often make us feel that we are not doing enough, good enough, or have achieved enough. This moon may highlight our limitations or exacerbate the ‘glass is half empty’ syndrome. However, if we use the energies consciously we can be much more disciplined, organised, structured and grounded. We are also more able to recognise and release any limitations, fears and anxieties around who we are, our dreams and visions.
The coming full moon in Capricorn is a double edged sword. Depending on where you are on your path will directly influence the experience you have over this full moon. In other words, the truth will be illuminated, no matter what face you are showing to the world.
If you are already feeling vulnerable, or a bit raw, from the Cancer new moon, this full moon in Capricorn can continue to illuminate the hidden issues surrounding our need for safety and security, feeling loved and appreciated and acknowledged for who we are, in all areas of our lives. Alternatively, if you are in a good space, feeling empowered, strong and in the flow, this Capricorn moon will enhance and magnify the good vibrations you are already feeling.
Fortunately, this moon brings with it the energy of commitment, discipline, focus and determination, injecting us with a much needed energy boost, especially if you have taken a few hits over the last few months and feeling a bit exhausted and overwhelmed by it all. We are not out of the woods yet but the fog is lifting and the path is getting clearer.
With Mercury now direct and Pluto, the planet of transformation and Uranus, the planet of new ideas, influencing the moon’s energy we are can feel the inner kick to take our projects and creative endeavours to the next level.
Use this full moon to imagine what you want to manifest, as it can help illuminate the path you are walking. We are also inspired to reclaim our power and authority. Under this moon we are compelled to value ourselves and set boundaries so that we take personal responsibility for our actions and honour who we are, overwriting any limiting beliefs that are still lingering.
Don’t be too hard on yourself, as this moon can trigger a sense of loss, failure and inadequacy. Saturn, Capricorn’s ruling planet, can stop us in our tracks by focusing in on all the challenges and obstacles we may encounter on the way and we may feel more fearful and anxious.
This in turn can spark regret, sadness and depression. It is all to easy to give up if things are getting tough, rather than focusing your imagination on what you want to manifest and then trusting it is all happening perfectly.
THE BEST WAY OF SURFING THE NEGATIVE FEELINGS IF THEY COME UP IS BY USING THE RESILIENT SATURN INFLUENCE TO HELP STRENGTHEN OUR RESOLVE TO REMAIN TRUE TO OURSELVES, OUR PASSIONS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY TRUSTING OUR INTUITION. Try this Kundalini Meditation to assist with this.
A full moon in Capricorn also influences the practical, organized aspects of ourselves and grounds us into reality so we can take action. This is an excellent time to get filing, accounts, and other documents in order, clean out your house or even move. We are at our most organised and business-like now, and it can help us to bring some order if there has been an element of chaos in your daily life.
Whatever is happening for you the key to this moon is to remain in your integrity. The more you are able to speak your truth, expose your vulnerability, and be who you are the easier it will be to surf this potentially choppy energetic Capricorn wave.
I will end this Moonscope with the wise words of Bob Marley:
“Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!”
Love and Blessings to my moon sista Rebekah Shaman for this post.

“In life, many thoughts are born in the course of a moment, an hour, a day. Some are dreams, some visions. Often, we are unable to distinguish between them. To some, they are the same; however, not all dreams are visions. Much energy is lost in fanciful dreams that never bear fruit. But visions are messages from the Great Spirit, each for a different purpose in life. Consequently, one person’s vision may not be that of another.
To have a vision, one must be prepared to receive it, and when it comes, to accept it. Thus when these inner urges become reality, only then can visions be fulfilled. The spiritual side of life knows everyone’s heart and who to trust. How could a vision ever be given to someone to harbor if that person could not be trusted to carry it out.
The message is simple: commitment precedes vision.” ~ High Eagle, The Shaman’s Last Apprentice
Full Moon Ritual
Go out into nature and find yourself a quiet, peaceful place under a tree that inspires or calls you, stand under the Full Moon’s silvery light, or in the warm sunshine if it’s too cloudy to see the moon.
Sink your toes deep into the earth. Imagine your feet are sinking ever deeper into the soil, sending the energy of your feet deep into the mud, rocks, and inner layers of Mother Earth, until you reach the red crystal at the core of the planet. Feel the energy, vibrations and colours of this crystal pulsating within the heart of Mother Earth.
Now observe and experience the potent, healing energies of the womb of Mother Earth penetrating your roots and moving up through the earth into your feet and through your body. Feel the energy come flowing out through the top of your head and straight up into the sky. Feel it go beyond the clouds, the atmosphere and into space before dispersing throughout the Universe.
Now reverse the experience, allowing the energy to flow from space, through you into the depths of the Earth, with you as the bridge between the Sky and the Earth. Eventually, experience the energy flowing both ways, through every part of your being. Allow a golden glow to suffuse your entire being, filling you with inner strength and self belief. It is possible to merge with the energies and actually become an open channel.
This energy is incredibly healing emotionally, mentality, physically and spiritually. It reconnects us to our planet, and reminds us we are part of this wondrous, limitless Universe.
This is also a good time to ask questions of your higher self on issues that need clarification, especially if you need to make important decisions. We can receive many messages from our higher selves, either during the visualization or afterwards, especially if you take the time to be in silence.
If you do feel depressed during this period, spend five minutes every morning when you wake up feeling grateful for everything that has happened, is happening and will happen. When we can find the gratitude and blessings however good or bad it may seem, we attract more of the good stuff into our lives.
Release any pent up stress or negative feeling by having a good scream, cry, dance, hitting a pillow. Let it all out so that the loving, connected energy can really flow, bringing with it more peace and harmony.
