What Face Are You Showing?
Phew, Mercury has finally gone forward and things seem to be going back to ‘normal’. The energy will be ramping up towards this weekend when we reach the Solstice, and the half year mark.
From now to the end of 2015 things will go very fast so in order to make sure you stay on the right course, utilise this Gemini New Moon to get clear what it is you want to have manifested by the end of year.
Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, and while it was retrograde things were turbulent. It has been a time of reflection, letting go and processing. However, with this new moon, and Mercury now going forward, we are being prompted to communicate what is in our hearts.
It may come about over this moon that life places you in a situation where you are faced with a decision, to speak your truth or remain silent. Use the Gemini New Moon energy to stand in your power and say what needs to be said. To help with this process, try out this pranayam to clear out your throat chakra.
Symbolised by the twins, Gemini often has a hard time knowing what face to show the world. This is the moon to find the courage to show your true face, rather than the one you think the world wants you to be.
The key is to communicate from the heart, with love and compassion. When our delivery is tinged with anger and frustration the message can get lost and can escalate into an argument or row. Gemini helps us let go of the fear and when we can both speak our truth, and also listen to another’s truth, the easier it is to find a peaceful solution.
This is also not a time for deep analysis of the whys, whats and hows of a situation. Fortunately, this air sign helps us detach from any of the emotional dramas that may have been draining our time and energy. We can see things from a more observational perspective and make healthier decisions.
We are being fuelled to nurture our visions and dreams this month so open up to the synchronisities that are happening all around us. Life is magical when we stop being a victim and trust that it is all happening perfectly.
Have faith in your intuition, follow your heart and be your own guru. As the moon waxes to full, use the strength and courage of this Gemini New Moon by making a conscious effort to speak your truth in every situation, even when it seems really uncomfortable. The more you live in integrity the more peace of mind you will find in your life.
I will end this Moonscope with the wise words of Miguel Angel Ruiz, The Four Agreements:
“Don’t Make Assumptions. Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.”

New Moon Ritual
This new moon ritual is for those of you who are needing to communicate your true feelings with those who may have passed over, or do not have contact with. Before beginning you may want to try this pranayam for the throat chakra, as it will help to clear any communication blockage & allow you to experience this ritual more powerfully…
Find some quiet time in your busy day. Give yourself space to relax, light a candle, sit comfortably and slow down with some breathing and meditation, until you reach the stillness within.
When you feel connected with your inner self, imagine one person you have an unresolved issue with. Call that person into the room to sit opposite you and ask for permission to speak.
Once you feel comfortable and you can see/feel/Imagine that person sitting opposite you, begin a dialogue with them. Speak to them from your heart, as if they were there. Tell them everything you want to say and hold nothing back.
Once you have spoken out everything to them, ask them if they have anything to say to you and see if anything comes up. Let your imagination/right brain run free to create the situation. The more you can see and feel them, the more powerful this ritual can be.
This exercise is not about an outcome, it is about releasing the words and feelings that are trapped in your throat chakra. Let the tears come if they need to. It is the body´s way of bringing the emotions back into balance.
This ritual isn´t about being right or wrong, or about blame. This is giving you an opportunity to speak your truth without fear of retribution, attack or rejection. It is an incredibly powerful ritual even if the person has died.
Unresolved issues create dis-ease in the body and when we get the chance to verbally talk about our feelings and emotions we can release the blockages and feel calmer and more at peace.
“The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it you think it’s real because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it’s very brightly coloured and it’s very loud and its fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question: “Is this real, or is this just a ride?” And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, “Hey, don’t worry, don’t be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride.” And we kill those people.” ~ Bill Hicks
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” ~ Steve Jobs
“A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself – and especially to feel, or not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at any moment is fine with them. That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is.” – Jim Morrison
